Farmers and farm product processors already have a hard enough time getting their products to market, with economic, weather, and labor issues to spare. Wright Process looks to help ease the difficulty in this volatile field by providing fully designed and installed systems specific to each product. As with this spring mix processing line, a good layout is the first step – what makes sense for operators, production, maintenance, and quality? Replacing old PVC and hose connections with stainless steel tubing was this customers primary concern, after laying out the production lines for ease of operation. This customer also integrated a fully automated Clean-In-Place system for washing their lines daily, a huge step towards capital quality control. As with all of our systems, Wright Process provided training and engineering support until all personnel with familiar with their new equipment.
Other
Filtration Process Experience:
- RO water systems and filtration for process water
- Media filtration for waste water applications
- Cartridge / membrane filtration for water, concentrates, and liquid ingredients
- Bulk filtration and strainers for receiving stations

Wright Process is not daunted by large scale work - a fact proven by this extensive Central Valley cheese processing facility. This plant installation project consisted of process, CIP, and utility piping, equipment, and automation, which spanned two stories of their processing facility. Downstairs of these vats, we also designed and built a new HTST system, which together provides the backbone of this customer's entire provolone and mozzarella operation.
Other Dairy & Cheese Plant Experience:
- New CIP System Installation
- Process System automation engineering and deployment
- New sanitary Cure Room construction (including existing facility modifications by city permit)
- Complete HTST systems
- State-mandated sanitary process piping installation

Not only does a new system have to work, but it should look good, too. Our skilled welders and fitters did an excellent job on this Central Valley soft drink plant, as you can see here in product and CIP lines routed to and from the system's main flow panel. We were able to install this side of the process area while the other side was still operational, and with minimal down time we acheived integration both quickly and efficiently!
Other Installation Experience:
- Sanitary Process, Utility, Aseptic, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Grade Piping and Equipment
- Integration Engineering
- Support Structure design and installation

For this local Winery project, Wright Process Systems designed, built, and installed an entire automation package centered around the control panel shown here. This control panel, along with the adjacent solenoid valve panel, now allows the operator to control every cycle of his process from a touch screen mounted on the enclosure door, and was deployed with startup training by our own process and automation engineering team.
Other Automation Experience:
- Allen-Bradley PLC based control solutions, including programming and training
- All stages of production, from ingredient batch controls to packaging automation
- Field expansion and upgrades
- Re-engineering of existing systems
- And much more!

The production of chocolate food products is a very precise and unforgiving process, considering the necessity to keep temperatures and flow rates at highly regulated conditions. Piping systems designed to transport liquid chocolate and related ingredients must be thoroughly designed and considered – jacket diameter and material; heating zones and temperatures; product viscosity and pressure; contaminant removal through magnetic traps, filters, or strainers; pumping characteristics; instrumentation; etc. Wright Process’ standardized design for stainless tube-on-tube piping systems, as well as our engineering expertise with chocolate process, allows us to meet customer needs on every level.
Other
Chocolate Process Manufacturing Experience:
- Complete Melting, Tempering / De-Tempering, Ingredient Addition, and Stabilization systems
- Skid-mounted chocolate holding tank skids with jacketed piping, pumps and valves.
- Hot water piping and design for multi-temperature zones and loads.
- Sanitary / washdown production platforms and work decks
