Reverse Osmosis System

As we kick off 2019, Wright Process Systems would like to thank you, our customers, suppliers, and partners for your business and support. Working on increasingly complex projects through the years has allowed us all to grow together, and we pull from this experience actively in order to offer more services and value in return.

Drawing on such diverse experience, we continue to refine our offerings. Today, Wright Process Systems offers a well-honed, streamlined process to deliver turn-key, design-build projects for our new and returning food and beverage manufacturing customers. With four key divisions in-house, we integrate General Construction, Process/Utility Mechanical Installation, Parts/Equipment Sales, and Process Engineering into a seamless package for projects of all sizes.

In the coming months, our newsletters will cover new and unique services that we are excited to implement, as well as describe existing services that we have recently bolstered. Before getting into those new offerings, we’d like to showcase a few keynote projects from the last 1-2 years that truly exemplify our strengths. Let’s take a look at three such projects below:

Turn-Key Beverage Ingredient RO Water for Aseptic Manufacturer

Reverse Osmosis SystemAcross a 1-½ year CapEx initiative, our team designed and installed a new RO-filtered process water system to an existing aseptic beverage plant, needed as a new ingredient source so that our customer could take on additional contract manufacturing work for a global beverage label.

The fully-permitted project included an automated RO system, redundant UV systems, automatic media filters, carbon towers, and storage. We provided process engineering services for water quality and end-beverage specifications. Our team managed all construction work, including concrete, structural, electrical, floor coating, plumbing, and storm water collection.

Wright Process Systems performed all process and utility mechanical trade work, and managed all integration and FAT/SAT processes. This included automation, controls, OEM startups, plant utility tie-ins, and production schedules. We utilized “on-deck” startup schemes to take advantage of planned production downtimes and commissioned CIP and Production circuits through completion.

New Full Plant (250,000 Sq Ft) Process and Utility Infrastructure Project

New Plant InfrastructureAcross this 9 month project, our team installed completely new process and utility infrastructure throughout a new processing plant for our customer, including select utility equipment to service foreign-supplied OEM process equipment.

The fully-permitted project included new steam generators, central hot process water (with multiple temperature loops), and wastewater treatment systems. We also installed piping circuits for potable water, compressed air, natural gas, steam, condensate, multiple heated water loops, and more.

Our team provided value-engineering services to improve existing pre-design work, offering approximately 20% project cost savings to our customer. We performed add-on engineering services for multiple structural, piping, equipment, and TI elements where needed to support the team. In addition, we added heat recovery and balancing systems to save significant energy between various heating circuits, reducing raw energy costs for the customer.

Oregon Nut Pasteurizer ReLOCATION and Installation

Nut PasteurizingDuring this 3 month project, we performed the complete dismantlement, relocation, and reinstallation of a nut pasteurizer system to our customer’s plant in Oregon. Our team fully documented the existing pasteurizer system prior to relocation, then inventoried and budgeted all required work in CapEx format.

The fully-permitted project included the full removal, rigging, setting, re-piping, and reinstallation of the system, plus utility equipment reinstallation (boilers, chillers, air compressor, and air handling).

Wright Process Systems performed engineering work to confirm that the new installation met current code, operational load requirements, and site specifications for our customer. Our team then started up the system alongside OEM engineers through full validation.

Thank you for your continued work with Wright Process Systems. As a full-service design/build contractor and dedicated partner in the food and beverage processing industry, we are committed to your continued success and customizing a solution that works just for you.
